In 1965 Carnes founded the Florida Track Club which is known for producing great runners such as Jeff Galloway, Marty Liquori, Frank Shorter, and Jack Bacheler. While at Florida Jimmy Carnes had a dual meet record of 93-3 and helped produce 24 All-American Athletes.* Mr. Carnes was inducted to the USA Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2008.
